Erika Tynes-Winston

THE BOOK DOULA

GHOSTWRITER. DEVELOPMENTAL EDITOR. WRITING COACH.

stack of books

I'm Erika, a ghostwriter, editor, writing coach, and owner of Personal Touch Edits, LLC. I have had the honor of helping some really cool people bring their life-changing stories into the world.

While I mostly work with business leaders, political figures, and entertainers, I know that a good book has no professional prerequisites. So, if you have a story to tell, let's talk about your book writing goals.

What Clients Have to Say

Erika is fun to work with, responsive, and a very clear and effective writer. Almost all of the interesting materials on our website - including detailed reports on our philanthropic projects, significant client work, new hiring, and geographic expansion, and all of the professional bios - are Erika's work. I strongly recommend her.

-Joe Faber, Managing Principal, Faber Law Group

One of the hardest tasks I have ever undertaken is taking what was in my head and getting it into written form. Erika was such a catalyst for me. She helped me through the process, understood my voice, and helped me get it all down in a way that was super authentic to me.

-Kalifa Oliver, Author of I Think I Love My Job

Erika took a personal stake in my success, working tirelessly during multiple rewrites and edits to help us get the finished manuscript completed. Partnering with Erika made all the difference. Her process and enthusiasm were the extra fuel I needed to get my manuscript completed and to the publisher.
